Interview With The Champions - Blacula |
Q: Why did you pick this kit for Summer Contest 2009? A: I was searching for a starter kit and found this one. Because it's quite big I thought it's easier to handle than a small one. Al so I like the look of the sculpt. Q: What was the most challenging part of building this kit? A: Thrilling holes through the entire kit and place the wires in it. Q: What do you think is the highlight of your work? A: Removable clothes & colour-changing LEDs. Q: Besides your work, which entries you really like in Summer Contest 2009? A: I like the winner kit of senior category most. Q: How did you start this hobby? A: My girlfriend forced me to look at her kits the whole time until I tried it myself. Then I placed my order. Q: How long have you been building GK? A: It's my first seriously built kit, I don't have any experiences with GK. Q: What is the first GK you built? A: It's the burning butt. Q: How many GK have you built so far? A: 2 kits, Seyadatara and the butt. It's painted at a convention before, but I just had a rough sanding paper and a poor brush and thick colors. Q: Throughout all the GK you built, which GK you built that makes you proud? A: The burning butt ¡V I share so many memories with that time. Q: What is your thought about GK hobby? A: There are some freaks out there spending colossal amounts of money on pieces of plastic, but I also like watching the different and creative ideas which come to life in a big contest like E20, although in the end some people are sad because they can't compete with others. Not everybody can be a winner. Q: What advices would you suggest to novices at GK? A: Read a lot in GK forums, it helps you to avoid many mistakes from the very beginning and saves you some time. So it's possible to start at a high level into this hobby. |
