Interview With The Champions - ogami

(Senior Figure Champion - ogami)

Q: What reasons make you participated in Winter Contest 2009 ?
A: I was entering just for fun! And I always trying to enter anyway because I didn't missed any E2046 contest since summer 2005 with at least one entry each time. I was far to imagine that I could won something in this section considering that I won the mecha category last time! ^^
An excellent surprise so! Thank you so much to the people who voted for me.

Q: Besides your entry, which other entries really blow your mind away?
A: The predator one from k0955897677@gmail.com is amazing and I voted for him, but the choice was not easy because of the great entries!
I loved too the Sinanju from Pochishen! Fantastic!

Q: How would you spend the money from the prizes?
A: LOL that is already done, I have purchased on the E2046 store a 1/60 Gerbera Tetra from G-System Shop !

Q: How did you pick your kit for the entry?
A: In the first time I ordered him for a commissioned work but I found this figure so nice that I ordered one kit for me.
I found this character inspiring with his damaged coat, that's why I tried a more detailed base than I do most of the time.

Q: Your thought about your entry.
A: I really like the way it looks in the final, but of course I can see some details that can be still improved... ^_^

Q: What are you going to do with your entry after Winter Contest 2009? Sell it? If yes for how much?
A: LOL, I think that I will keep it on my shelves!

Q: Where are you from? And what do you do for living?
A: I'm from France and I'm a graphic designer (32 years old).

Q: Your proudest work so far?
A: I really like the RX-93 Hi-Nu bust I built for the summer contest 2009, so hard but great to work on and my Samurai Spirits diorama with Haomaru and Nakoruru (Winter Contest 2007).
That's fun because more I practice the hobby, more I love painting and building kits than collect them...

Q: What advices you give to others to build a work could win a champion in E2046 contest?
A: I may say practicing and practicing, that is the only way to improve by sharing and communicate with other forums members and hobby friends.
There is not only one way to work but a lot of, that's what is making our hobby fun and fulfilling.
