This diorama takes place somewhere on the Eastern front in 1942. At this time the German Army is crossing Europe taking Countries city by city. The Allies have not yet been able to stop their movement, but soon they will and the German Army will be defeated. The scene captures the friedships between the Tank crew and the Air bourn soldiers. The tank crew gives needed reconnassance to the Air bourn army for surgical attacks to the Allies. The two Air bourn soldiers give thanks to the tank crew by offering a cigarette as they pass by. Not to far behind is a German Scout that has pulled over to take a break in the brush. The tank is a Panzerspaehwagen II \"LUCHS\". It was very fast, with a top speed of 45 km per hour. The ability of the LUCHS to service on the battle field depended on speed, maneuverability, small target size and a crew that knew how to utilize cover provided by the terrain. The motorcycle/halftrack is called the Kettenkrad tractor, and was widly used during the war.

Great paint job, but there are couple problems.
First of all, Luchs was only being built from September 1943 to January 1944, which cannot be appeared in a diorama of 1942. Secondly Luchs can reach a top speed of 60km/h. In the last, German army use the grey painting until 1943, so it's impossible to find panzer with dark yellow paint with camo.

The paintjob is great but military stuff isn't really my taste. Can't say why.
