Quite an interesting style of Gundam, pieces all look good, should be fun to build.
I have been looking for this for a long time. a lot of detailed parts and excellent casting. it is my first gundam kit...and it wont be my last!
Absolutely stunning kit with an amazing amount of detail and I can't wait to get painting it! The kit arrived in perfect condition due to the excellent packaging and overall the level of service from E2046 is one of the best I've ever experienced and I will definitely buy a lot more from them, very highly recommended. The only downsides to the kit as others have mentioned is the instructions which are pure garbage but better ones are readily available on mersa-figure.com and the lack of ball joints. These are easy to get hold of but it's a bit of a job to work out exactly which ones to get, E2046 making a set available would be a real improvement with this, even if it was a separate add on kit as not everyone wants to articulate their models and prefer to pin/glue them. I have test fitted some of the parts and so far no real issues, everything seems to be well moulded with just the usual resin kit clean up required to get it together. There is very little mould seams or flash present and even the very small delicate parts are nice and straight with no warpage. This is a very complex kit and previous experience is needed to really get the most out of it but if you want something different to the usual Gundam style then this is definitely the one to go for, a nice almost bio-mechanical type of detailing that will look great once painted to bring it out and make it "pop"! The surface detail is very crisply moulded and the finish of the resin is fantastic, I haven't found a single air bubble or major imperfection so far which will make finishing it a bit less tedious than other resin kits I have tried, really well done E2046 and if this is their usual standard I can't wait to buy more
Finally arrived, great casting quality, unfortunately the instructions print quality was poor but with the link to the online pictures it doesn't matter. The only thing i would like to point out is that this kits does require the joints and is not mentioned anywhere, i would suggest to add them to the package even if the price has to go up a little to get the whole thing. Besides the joints issue all the rest is supperb. Thanks E2046
Good packaging of the whole and the parts inside, everything arrived safe(took a good month to get to germany), no damaged or missing parts and surprisingly good and nicely detailed cast, almost flawless with very little spots to clean as far as I noticed. It came in a greyish resin, sort of heavy & sturdy, a bit brighter as what you see in the pictures above.. whatever that means (this is my 2nd resin kit) The only downside(in my case at least) is the instruction manual - the 6th copy of a copy... You barely recognise anything on the sheets. But luckily it has a link to the sourcemanual! C'mon why not just print this, e2046guys? I really like the organic-mechanical details and the overall design of this kobayashi take on gundam (its like giger meets japanese mecha). It will be really outstanding among the typical 'clean'plated gundam kits. I'm too eager painting this.. Thanks E2046guys, without you I'd never got or see anything like this kit.
