I was happy to see receive this base, but unfortunately it is damaged in a few places somewhat visible. Otherwise it would have been a great product.

looks great and very heavy! however, mine arrived with a small dent on the bottom edge. I think better packaging would be good for protecting it as it just comes in a plastic bag.
