The kit's parts are well casted and fit great. This was a very easy build.
Nice Casting, Even though It's very old kit, I'm happy to get this kit. Thanks E2046, making this kit.
Bold yet basic pose gives this kit character. Kusanagi's hands on hips stance has her sizing you up while presenting her in a take it or leave it attitude. Not many pieces - I like that many of them break along or close to the colour lines, ie. her torso can be painted flesh tones, then the hair can be painted separately and added on, as can her bodice. Means there won't be a lot of masking needed. Parts are well cast - only drawback seems to be the cleanup of the pour plugs. As with other figure kits, painting is the crucial aspect that will make or break the completed model.
This is my first order direct with E2046, and only my second figure from the company (my first being bought second-hand, in perfect unmade and unpainted condition - I felt compelled to find out how good the items were). The order arrived (taking about 3 weeks to reach UK - not too bad) very nicely packaged, and I was impressed by the care taken with the wrapping to try and ensure its delivery through the mail system without damage of any sort. Just opening the parcel felt like an event, and this was added to on finding the contents quality checked perfect and blemish free, with only some small resin moulding 'nubs' needing removal and sanding out. Even though a fairly easy model to assemble, all the joints appear to be well fitting and the level of detail is quite crisp (wow, those hands!). If I were to be critical, the figure appears to me to be nearer 1/7 scale (not 1/6 as described), but this is not of any great importance to me as its purpose is to allow an old, long-time modeller to learn new skills (in this case, display figure painting and finishing). And what a fine and attractive figure to practice on! With the very wide range of figures and miscellaneous items/tools/etc available from E2046, I expect that I shall be ordering more in the future! To finish on a suggestion? I notice that some (but not all) figures have decals for the eyes - could not a decal sheet of eyes of various sizes and styles be produced as a separate product? Just a (lazy) idea! Excellent product and service so far, thank you. I shall return!
Arrived quickly through trackable EMS. Extremely well packed. Pieces clean and crisp. I'm a very happy camper to be the proud owner of this extremely rare kit. Thanks
Arrived practically overnight. Outstanding kit/rendition of my favorite avatar Motoko Kusanagi. No air bubbles and a click-fit at the joints. She needs a weapon so I'll get one online, but an outstanding kit. Packaging excellet, really over-the-top. Thanks e2046
Very nice kit. Standard resin and casting quality. Parts are simple.
Major! She's awesome on this model.... And I got a nice piece, with good casting and fitting. She could almost stand without pinning!! Recommended!
Best SAC style Motoko aviable here! Purchased her because sculptor catch style of original perfectly. She looks not just like big-boobed fanart, she is exact character. Scale look more 1/7 but sculpt is compensate this. Recast is very good, little bit of oversanding but it`s only small issue i`ve found. Already start working on her and find it very pleasant.
This is a very nice kit. I love REFLECT's works and had to buy myself Motoko. This figure seems easy to build as it is 1/6 scale and very few parts. The casting seems to be fairly clean. Overall, simple kit and any problems can be fixed easily.[/url]
This kit is very simple to work with! I advise any person who starts out GK building to get this one, the recast is Excellent. Thanks E20.
After a long time since my last feedbacks, I think I must give a feedback for this kit. I actually already want to get this kit since a long time ago but I always delay it everytime I want to buy. I saw she's in stock about 4 kits but I still I'm thinking to get her later. Until few weeks ago when I saw that there's only 1 kit left. I decided to buy the kit. Usually I try not to buy the last in stock kit because I think the last one must be the one with the most "problems" such as lot of prep-works to do, lost details, broken parts, or something else. But you know what, I'm glad I decided to buy the last in stock kit of her. The recast quality is not at a recast level, but at original level! Beside the resin color diferences, I dare to compare the cast quality of this kit with Kurushima's quality. No seamlines, easy to clean flashes, no lost details. The kit it self is a great kit for the beginer. Few parts with great part breaks. Pinning is a piece of cake. End of word, Thanks e2046 for this great kit. And I suggest e2046 should use this workshop more often in the future
Hi, I just receive this kit after a long wait due to a postal ambush. I'ts always a pleasure to see one of those green package as I know the quality will be there. It's a very simple kit (8 parts) and no surpise this time again, there's no major flawns and good surface state. Another good recast thanks to E2046. Many thanks
Yet another version Kusanagi Sama for me to build and paint Very Happy The casting on the figure is great quality, as always, with little flash and only a faint seam line on each of the legs. Good work E'... TBH, this isn't the best figure I've seen of Motoko Kusanagi, but I wanted her in a bigger scale, so far a 1/12 is the largest. I've been looking at the new GitS figures and two are realy nice ( FG4357 and FG4358 ). Can't wait Very Happy Paul
It is very dificult to find a Motoko Kusanagi GK from Ghost in th Shell, so don't mis her!!!!!!! This is a perfect piece of sculpting with a very interresting atitude-no seamlines-no tabs-.... In one word : PERFECT Thank's Val
I love this kit - one of the best of the Major, and a decent size, too! Great sculpt, great resin, great cast! No complaints at all. Just a nice, clean & simple kit that will be fun to build! Thanks! Oh, and by the way, any chance we'll ever see that 1/4 scale kit of Kusanagi in the white outfit here in the store?
I have received my motoko a bit late, my postman make a mistake..... But great cast, just little seam lines but not difficult to remove, must be a great figure for the contest. Good job ! Thanks !
Character: All I can say is "It's about time!!!" I've been waiting for a nice 1/6 scale Motoko based on GITS: SAC for quite some time. And leave for Reflect to deliver a simple but beautiful kit. Score: A+ Sculpt: Only a few pieces, but sculpted with Reflect's typical high quality. A very good likeness to the SAC version of the Major. Score: A Cast/Kit: Good dry fit of all the pieces. Some less than perfect seam lines. I am a little displeased that the most prominent seam lines is across the front of her boots in a recessed area. So it will be a bit harder to fix. But all in all, a good cast. Score: A- Overall score: A
I received this kit yesterday. Packaging was good, everything arrived intact. Also, the quality of the resin is nice and most surfaces are really smooth. In regard of seamlines however this is the worst kit I ever had. Some are about half a mm deep. The ones on the legs have already been sanded down, thus some minor detail on the boots got lost, but nothing to bad. Also, some details, on the handy for example, are a bit flat, but I can't tell if it's due to the recast or if it was that way in the original, since the cast on this parts seems okay otherwise. In conclusion I would say that this is not a bad cast, but E2046 can do a lot better..
