Subject arrived, fast shipping, statuette in excellent condition. really perfect object, well executed and needs a few touches. I remain of the view that this dealer is my favorite. Thank you. Marco M.
gorgeous but smaller than 1:6 more of a 1:8. very detailed sculpt and i love it. not looking forward to heatworking the cape but the figure looks so nice its worth it.
This is a nice model pretty simple not to much pieces. but seems a little complicated since you have to cut the cape and face shield and you only got one try at it so you got to make it count be fore you cut it.
classic Gatchaman pose. June went together perfect but E2046 forgot to send the cape parts
An amazing figure! She looks great, and I can not wait to build her!
Nice, low part number figure but nicely cast nonetheless to capture the essence of Jun. The one bit to be wary of before purchasing is the vacuform helmet beak and, rather surprisingly, a vacuform piece for the cape. I was expecting a cast cape not a plastic 'lolly-pop' style mold. Cutting the beak and the cape from the vacuform plastic will be a challenge - particularly the cape and it will need delicate crafting to get the cape shape and then heat-shaping to get the desired effect. Plus, if you mess up that's your lot. In other kits you often get a spare set of plastic just in case, especially as the vacuform plastic is 'as cheap as chips'. Thankfully, I have worked with vacuform kits before but if you have not - be aware: not for the faint-hearted and/or inexperienced modeller. Overall, I am looking forward to this kit as I am a big Gatchaman fan.
great recast and highly detailed kit. thanks for this beautiful kit!
It's a lovely Kit... But Wing part is not good!! Wing part's Work seemed to hard...
Great Figure. Packaging was great (as usual) and arrived in perfect condition. Nice casting, nice resin, very little clean-up (only casting block and minor seems) and the part fit together well. Loved G-Force (Battle of the Plants) growing up nice to be able to have a kit from in.
A good casting from what looks like an old mold. The cape part is vacuum formed clear plastic, which has many creases and folds from being crushed in shipping. Hopefully they can be removed during construction.
Kit arrived safely, it looks smaller than I thought, but everything is just fine. No mold lines or flash, no oversanding and no pin holes as far as my eyes can see. Nice fitting and the clear parts are good enough not to re-made them in my vacuum forming machine... Thanks for a good work, E.
Excellent kit nicely packaged as always. I can recommend it but the cape is going to be a challenge!
This is a pretty nice kit. However, I can't recommend this purchase because of the transparent vaccum part. Sanchong said that the large one has a lot wrinkles, and I totally agree with him. So, it's unusable. I will have to sculp this part. This is unacceptable !
I got this kit on Nov 2008. I feel very disappiont the transparent vaccum part. The large one has a lot wrinkle. Anyone should know Vaccum part cannot fix. I worte a e-mail with the photo for E2046, but I never got any respond. Also, I felt, and looked the resin material is different than I got to compare the other kit.
I was suprised how fast this shipment got here, it took only five days!( I received this weekend) Motoko looks very clean and molde very well. She also looks like alot of fun to build. Jun looks very good also. The only thing I can't figure out how to do with her, is how to color her visor. I don't want to leave it clear, and want to tint it yellow like the pictures. Anyway I'm very happy (again) with my kits. Thanks guys! Very Happy
Boy is she small. This kits packaging was so good I could not find the BILL for the front of her helmet. MasterJinn unpacked it for me as I was at work and somehow it was hiding inside the plastic(bubble paper) and he never saw it. Thankfully he did not throw anything away...leaving it for my inspection and after some hours of looking I finally found it. And then there was the issue of the LARGE CELLOPHANE bag (not cellphone bag) that everything was in, inside the plastic box. Issac will remember that one. It was really funny. I didn't find the little antenna for her helmet, but can probably can make on from air dry form. No Big Deal. Sculpt: 9, Casting: 9, Packaging: 12+ - ShadowHawke -
She arrived (sans plastic box ) in a box with a bunch of other kits, but even the clear plastic pieces arrived unscathed. Thankfully, because she has a lot of little parts! I really like that this kit comes with a base, it's not shown in the reference photos but you can see it in the parts image. The kit itself has a little bit of a difficult parts breakdown, the legs don't fit into the skirt quite as easily as most newer kits. But the details and the sculpting is really nice and crisp, she's definitely a beauty! Overall casting: B, there were more seamlines and pock marks than I'm used to seeing lately, and there were quite a few tabs in bad areas that will be tough to remove. However the details were captured quite well and parts fit seems to be ok, any difficulties seem to be the fault of the sculpt. Not real happy about the missing antennae though, and the fact that I have to create the cape myself out of the included plastic piece. One thing Jun is missing is the little "antennae" that should be on the top of her helmet... I don't see it in the parts image, so I'm not sure if it was meant to be included or not. Seems strange that it would be left off though. All in all, I'm really happy to finally be able to get her. I'd say her size is more like a 1/8, but that's really her only drawback if you're a Gatchaman fan. I would prefer in the future that all my kits be shipped with the plastic box though, this one was in a large cardboard box with a bunch of kits thrown inside without much packing material between them. I wish that wouldn't happen anymore.
