Nice model, great cast, but the listing NEEDS a list of the required joints for completion. otherwise we wont know what joints to get. Even better, include the joints in the kit.
clean casted good quality model kit. even a bit has problem in joints this girly very good to displaying with super-mini-pla GAOGAIGAR series.
small parts with nice details, excellent casting.
package came in super quick , the kit was of very good quality... will be buying more kits in the future
this item is not include joint parts, and no color kit.
Just received Kouryu today! What a beautiful kit indeed, very well designed and everything came as shown on the e2046! Packaging was very well done and all parts are clean and very well packed, I have yet to start painting the figure. But from what I can tell, she is going to be very fun to paint! Thanks again e2046, You always do amazing work!
Received along with 2 other kits Kouryu seems to be moulded better than the Anryu I purchased a year or so ago. the details are better overall. Interestingly it is a a bit simpler than Anyru, with some of the tiny parts on Anryu now moulded as 1 combined piece on Kouryu. The tiny little symbol to go onto the forehead seems to be missing in the kit however, but it is so small, I can recreate drom plastic-cards myself. As before, all joints are not supplied and has to be purchased separately. One thing to improve on is if E2046 can sell joint sets as well, either those as specified on various kits, or equivalent versions.
Sublime ! Another great casting, no default, well packed, fastly delivered. The assembling seems easy. Thank you E2046 and live long and prosper.
too busy to even leave a message, the shipping was fast and kit was good, keep on!
Good packaging and casting. No missing parts. Only 1 part was damaged.
You will need the following third party joint sets to make the kit poseable: Hobbybase Perfect Parts Collection (PPC) Ball Shape Joint PPC-T11, T12 or T13 Kotobukiya Modeling Support Goods (MSG) ABS Unit 01 D-74 Kotobukiya Modeling Support Goods (MSG) Start Set #2 D-120 My particular kit was generally well cast with sharp details, no bubbles on visible areas and no excessive flash. However, with my kit, there's an area on the inside part of the hip that surrounds the the peg holes for the thigh joints where the resin is really, really thin. It's thin to the point of translucency! I'll most likely have to reinforce this area with sheet plastic to provide added strength. I realize that every kit shipped out is different but nevertheless, you may want to inspect your kit for similarly weak areas just in case.
very nice kit. but you need some optional ball joint that kotobukiya starter kit, kotobukiya ABS T-joint and BASE SHAPE JOINT
I've purchased two of these kits for use in a diorama and both kits feature outstanding production quality and remarkable finish. There are virtually no seam lines on any of the parts and clean up will consist of simply grinding away the casting riser plugs. The fine line detail is very good and the look of happy surprise on their tiny robot faces is quite delightful. I'm still puzzling over why the sculptor felt compelled to suggest nipples on a robot, but I simply chalk that up as Another Mystery of Asian Modeling. My only complaint with the kits is that there are no ball joints provided to connect the elbows, knees and ankles. This makes the kit unbuildable as it comes from the box. Granted, this is an easy fix and I plan to get a selection of wood or plastic beads that would fill the bill. Still, this an odd oversight for E2K46 who has generally done a good job of quality control. Given that the low price makes this kit attractive to beginners, E2K46 may wish to consider tossing the appropriate beads in the box for completeness and to lower the frustration level. With that out of the way, I must again say that these are wonderful little kits that should paint up beautifully and, with ball joints in place, offer a limitless number of posing options. This is a kit I'd recommend to beginners in the hobby or a figure modeler tempted to try their first mecha. Just remember to bring the beads. Mark
This should be renamed to GBR-9 Kouryou, from the GaoGaiGar series. This is my first purchase from e2046, and I was very disappointed. This is a robot kit, and a fairly simple one at that, but a good deal of the panel lines are very fuzzy or filled in. There are dark marks in various parts of the body, but there is a large one over her face that invades a panel line. Unfortunately, the figure is too small to comfortably fix the mold line that invades the panel line on her face. Obviously, the face is the most important part, and when it is this flawed and this small, it makes you wary to fix it.
