Other inline is space girl Yuki Nagato: Original idea found: the possibility to change jackets or remove it with magnetic effect (like Rei I have too). Boxes design are well thought and shipping between 3-5 days to France. I'd love a Mikuru by Bubba to form the SOS Dan trio
My latest purchase finally got back to me today from the place I had order it for me. And since now I have both the Witch Hat Yuki and Space Yuki I must say that I'm on cloud nine! Both packages arrived in pristine condition, and there was no hint of damage to either statue, they are both perfect! The painting on both of them, especially Witch Hat Yuki, is amazing and well worth every bit of the price. I did notice that some people said that the head and base of Space Yuki were sources of problems, but I'm happy to report that the head on mine secured very well, and while at first her right foot hovered a bit above the base, it has since corrected itself, and now everything is 100%. The seem on the arm was not as noticable as many people had said it was, at least on the front. Witch Hat Yuki is perfect, I cannot say much more than that, she's lovely and amazing, and I'm happy to have her. I've made four purchases from The Gathering series, all of them being the Bubba sculpts, and now the family is complete - at least until he makes more - I would recommend anyone that wants a quality product but lacks the time and skill to do a professional job themselves look at The Gathering series, not once have I been disappointed with the results of my purchases, and the e2046 staff was both prompt and more than happy to answer any questions I had. All four statues sit proudly in my room in the display case above my t.v. Now all I have to hope for is for Bubba to do a Ryoko Asakura sculpture, and for it to become part of The Gathering series. But until then I wish everyone at e2046 the best of luck. Please keep up the excellent work!
I got this figure a while ago....just didn't write my feedback on it. When I went home and saw the box, I was so happy when I opened it. The design on the box was very beautifull. It's also nicely packed....nothing was broken or lost during the shipping. The figure was painted supperb and nicely detailed....loves the painted on her white gloves and boots also the shading of her hair. Everything fits perfectly together. It's definately a 12/10!! Allen
This is my second purchase at E2046, and the quality is still awesome !! Well, the packaging is perfect, fast delivering, and no broken parts as I had in my previous order. The paint job is very good as usual, nothing to say about it. Everything is good and every part fits in its place, just perfect ! So to conclude : I will definitely buy another figure !
Hmm, kinda forgot to post feedback right after I got this one, so I'm a week late. XD The kit turned out just as cool as I expected it to. Three cheers for Yuki's tribute to old-school sci-fi suits! Now to wish for a diorama of the Enterprise bridge involving the entire cast of Suzumiya Haruhi... Mmm...
Another very nicely crafted figurine, this time of dear Yuki-san. The attention to detail is wonderful and the seam and joint assembly were done flawlessly. Very professional artwork and craftsmanship by the folks toiling over a hot paint brush in the workshop! As always, the finished figure and associated parts were well packaged within hand-cut foam templates and placed within a sturdy plastic container (which I now use for my lunch ^_^) to keep things well intact during its postal journey. Clarence and the folks at E2046 are a pleasure to deal with, which is why I never have a problem placing an another order. Looking forward to Yuki and her guitar and and gothic cosplay Haruhi... Thank you folks!Another very nicely crafted figurine, this time of dear Yuki-san.
Got it a few weeks ago, but forgot to post my feedback... That Yuki is a little to big in my opinion (1/7 like Haruhi would have been better). But she's really great. BUBBA sculpted a perfect Yuki, and the Gathering team gave her a perfect painting. The magnetic jackets are easy to change and the pieces perfectly fits. She was worth the price. My girlfriend drop the right arm and the gun got broken, but in an easy way to glue so it's not noticeable. (But this time she really understood that resins ARE fragile). Hope we'll get a BUBBA Mikuru some day...
Again another superb product from e2046's Gathering section. I am very used to this excellent quality now after buying 3-4 figures from the Gathering section. The package came yesterday, with NO DAMAGES like always. The figure was 100%, with no broken pieces or flawed paint or scratches. The packing was superb AGAIN. I am running out of things to say because e2046 just does an amazingly excellent job, it doesn't make sense. I am so happy with this figure since it was very well priced. I was most impressed with the sanding job, this figure was extremely smooth and i couldn't find any bumps. The paint was flawless as well. The colors matched and nothing was off. It looks just like BUBBA's original. The only bad thing i can find in this figure is the magnetic jacket. The shirts when they come together aren't 100% perfect, there is a slight over seem that can seen from the side. But honestly this does not matter at all, this is a minor flaw that is easily overruled by the fact that you can change her shirt. Thats just totally amazing. Doesn't make any sense how you guys can continue making ridiculously high quality pre-paints for such a low price. excellent buy...
This is the first time I'm buying a pre-painted figure e2046, and I'm fairly pleased with the paint job. Everything except for the face looks spot on to the promo picture. The face feels a bit whiter than the rest of the skin tone though, making it look a bit odd. Also, I think her eyes look a bit too sharp compared to the softer expression I'd expect her to have. However, I think the paint quality itself is excellent, just the shape seems a bit off. The nose seems a lot sharper than the promo pictures though, but that doesn't seem like it's e2046's fault, since it's part of the original model. I guess that's just lighting. The head stub seems to not fit in well, I think I might need to file the stub down a bit to get the neck line perfectly joined. The magnetic tops are cool, but the back part of the top doesn't seem to fit under the arm very well, it needs to be really squeezed in. Otherwise, it's an excellent paint job and assembly, so I'm pretty pleased.
I was actually in Tokyo lining up for this very kit at Winter Wonderfest when I got halfway down Bubba's super long line and was told that Space Nagato sold out. I wasn't too happy. But luckily, e2046 and Gathering came to the rescue. Not only did they offer the Nagato kit I wanted, but it was pre-painted for around the same price as the Japanese original! Anyway, here is the review. The paint job as usual is very impressive. I took it out carefully and was pretty worried about the headphone, but it was surprisingly well attached. The head and right arm issues are the same with many other people. The head feels loose and feels like it might fall out of place with a nudge. The right arm is fine I think but I may have to glue that and the head on to solve any issues of them falling off. The main problem for me is the eyes. They are way off from the original paint job I've seen in the magazines and even on this site. They didn't have the same feel and a lot of people have expressed this issue too. (ie lacking finer airbrushed shading details that gave it a bit of depth). Simply put, there's just no.. soul in them. I also would have liked her more without the "lipstick". The replacement tops are a cool idea, but I actually also preferred her when she had the top as a permanent fixture like the original kit. It looked sexier when it looked like it was tightly formed on her body and not an accessory. Anyway, great kit. I might be tempted to buy another if they release it again with improvements too, lol. Looking forward to the Witch Nagato next!
This figure had me waited for a whole week since the customs wouldnt release it. However, it was worth the wait. Even though the problems with the other customers are there (both the head and the right arm), I had no problem with her jackets. Now my guitar Haruhi would not be so lonely anymore. Looking good for my first purchase on e2046. Can't wait for my next one.
This was my first purchase of anything from The Gathering collection. I'm happily impressed with the quality. Good stuffs: + The packaging was well done and lots of bubble wrap, and foam to protect the pieces. Nothing seems to have been damaged. My headset came attached to the head wrapped in the foam, some have reported separate attachments. + The painting is excellent and contrasts with the rest of the figurine nicely. The metallic white on the boots, top, and gloves are awesome and greatly adds to the detail. + The head piece sits well, I know some have reported it being scarily wobbly. + The interchangeable tops are an excellent bonus. Not so good stuffs: - The pink top doesn't align well, but it's not too noticeable. I like the white top anyway. - Her arm that holds the gun (as an attachment) doesn't fit all the way onto the shoulder/body. I think the joint might need to be sanded down a bit for it to go on nicely. It took some force to get it on snug, but i think you can put like a line of floss around the arm in the gap. - The boots align on the star base well. The foot with the peg hovers a slight bit, which gives it some wobble, but I'm assuming that's cause the hole in the base isn't drilled down deep enough for the peg to seat the foot properly. - I'm indifferent about the tube top addition. It looks like its super tight and sharp and cuts into the body rather than being a top. In other words, it looks like its inset into the body. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product, and will buy again once another figurine catches my eye (and wallet permits. )
Hello, Yuki has been the fourth item I ordered from gathering, and I am very satisfied about her, as usual. The figure is a pretty little object. Very sweet face. The things I most appreciate on this gathering product is the work they made on her skin. Shading is very gentle and gives a realistic appeal to her. Hair are also shadowed in a professional way. I am at the beginning of my hobby and I want to learn looking at this works. Also my kit's right leg does not touch the base, but for me it is not a flaw. That is not visible. For people that want to fix it, I suggest to make the hole in the base a little larger, so the pin can have space to settle back, in this way the leg should lay down on the base, next they can also fill the hole with putty if necessary. I also suggest to envelope the right forearm's pin with a little piece of plastic film (you can cut a piece from the envelopes one can find in the packaging of Yuki's tops), in this way it is more stable. I put her beside "Suzumiya Haruhi Special Version (PF3739)", both on my piano. I have got the red-body version of Haruhi and now I am fully satisfied of it because I think that version looks better close to Yuki's colours.
Received this today and the painting is outstanding, like the other gathering kits I've purchased. However, like others who have purchased this kit, there are two issues. The first relates to the right arm. In my case, the arm fit on snuggly, buy left a small, but visible, gap at the seam. This isn't too noticable though. The second problem is with the head. Without either gluing or some putty, the head wobbles about and nearly falls off the body. This is not a good thing. The magnetic tube tops work really well. Seam lines are present, but are also expected in this case. the fit is very good, and depending on display angle, not really noticable. Again, another great job.
I've been eying this figure since its premiere at last year's WHF and was looking forward to E2046 in picking this up since you guys did the previous Haruhi Bunny figure (and to much success). Ordered it immediately when pre-orders opened up without much of a thought. I chose registered airmail this time since the figure looked light and there wasn't too much complexity involved in terms of assembly other than the headset on the head piece. It only took about a week and it arrived in perfect condition. The packaging is carefully designed specifically for the figure as usual and I was very impressed that the headset stayed in tact. The head comes detached from the body so it is individually wrapped in a softer type of foam. The base stand included is red, which I was slightly disappointed as it's commonly seen with a pink stand. No biggie, it matches the black and white one of the Haruhi Bunny figure's well anyway. The cast and assembly quality has certainly improved and I feel this was part of a good batch of recasts. Unlike the Haruhi Bunny, the hair pieces are inter-joined much more closely and gaps are barely noticeable. The interchangeable vests lock on quite nicely though with summer heat and some age, I'm worried it might warp and loosen (hopefully not, and if it does I'll just glue the one I like most). The right arm with the pistol comes detached and it hooked on a bit loose for me. I cut a thin slice of the foam and used it to bridge the wobbly gap. This is something putty and glue can easily fix. The peg on the leg used to attach it to the base stand was also slightly crooked for me I believe; the right leg is lifted slightly off the base when you set it on. Hopefully after a while the weight will balance it out. The paint-job is impressive as usual and I especially enjoy the effort placed in creating the same glittery texture as the original BUBBA photos. Many shops and amateurs would've easily taken the route of painting the gloves, boots, and vest in plain gloss. Kudos on the paint mixing. The painting of the minor details are also impressive; I really like how the "SOS" logo on the clothing looks and appreciate the work of a steady hand. Only thing that bothered me was the hair color; I honestly felt it was a tad bit too dark, but this is really something different for everyone to decide by themselves. Looking forward for the other Yuki figure later this month. Thanks!
I've been a lurker on the site for years now, but this is my first purchase from E2046...and I must say I couldn't be happier! Very professional paint job - good shading, skin tones, no bleeding colors, and very easy assembly. The package for shipping was pretty impressive as well, I'd be more surprised if something was broken inside all those layers of bubblewrap and foam than not, heh. Thanks, and keep up the great work! Looking forward to the second BUBBA Yuki (PF3821) arriving next month~
Just received my second gathering piece http://www.e2046.com/product_info.php?products_id=6836 Yuki is as great as Haruhi and contrary of others, I think it's well done. Now just need to have Mikuru in the gathering serie and it will be perfect I just have one little problem : At the time I ordered (3 months ago lol ) I didn't know there was a base included (bad reading I guess) that's why I had ordered the AC1728. But it wasn't in the package, only Yuki was there. Like I said I don't really need it since there is a star base included then, maybe you could give me a cash-coupon for it's value ? If not, just send it, it's not a big deal. Thank you for your good work !
Wow!! The package of the Gathering series always nice and perfect for resin figure ^^ My Yuki arrived here safely like she was on the first class airway:) About the figure, I actually love the gathering productions as usual. The only thing that I think should be improved on this figure is her color. On her skin, color of the body and head parts are a bid different in tone when I look close up (the color of face's skin is lighter than her body)). Also, the problems with the connecting joint is happened with my figure as her head is loose and could be easily shake if I touch it. All I do is that I don't move the figure and everything is fine for me now ^o^ The value-adding magnetic changeable tops is excellent for me ^_^ Thanks millions e2046 for improving your products days by days. To conclude, I love this figure the same as I did with Haruhi one and now they are waiting for new friend, PF3821: 1/7 Yuki Nagato Pre-painted (Pre-painted) , coming ^_^ (I saw the pictures and I think she is so cute ^_^) Thanks e2046 again for everything ^o^
Very secure packing on the small headphone, I was so afraid that it may come broken. The connecting joint on the right arm is a little loose and the one on the bottom of left foot is a little tight causing the right foot to "flow in the air". Some touch up work may be required. The pupil coloring gives quite a difference from the original. While the original seems to give a "cooler" stare, this piece seems to given a robot-like blank stare. The magnetic parts are amazing
Like the previous e2046 gathering package that I bought, this one came in the exact same packaging. The outside is wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap. In the box, the figurine is surrounded by layers of styrofoam. Previously, the parts came in small ziplock plastic bags. This time, they came contained in just normal plastic bags (like your normal figurines) Surprisingly, the head and arm were not glued. (apparently because it might be fragile and damaged while broken, although I thought the padding was good enough) Assembling the pieces together weren’t too bad. The arm fitted on easily enough, although the seam might be a tad more obvious than normal. The head was a tight fit, and required much force. However, the hole at the base for the figurine was not of suitable size at all, and required manual intervention. The painting of the figurine remained top notch in my opinion, (like most gathering pieces) E2046.com this time offered changeable tops using “magnetic technology”. The magnetic parts work well enough, and changing the tops were VERY easy. It comes with a pink or white top, or you can leave it with the tubetop it comes painted with. Now this part has various problems. Firstly, the seam connecting the two pieces end up being horrible. Secondly, no matter which top you put on, you’ll ALWAYS see the tubetop. (the original had no tubetop, and came with a pink top) Thirdly, I don’t recall seeing an obvious nipple on the original. (not sure if it’s noticeable in the photos, but definitely is on the figurine itself) E2046 staff like to ask which top people prefer. I’ll vote for the pink one, especially since it goes better with the bottom. (I kinda think the extra tops are well…. extra.) Other bad points. The figurine does not balance well on the base. For mine, while both feet are flat on the base, the heels do not touch the base. (extra stress) And depending on how you tip it, mine ends up standing on the toes at times. I’m afraid it ends up tipping excessively forward. (although add in the point that I had problem getting it into the base, it becomes not a small thing anymore) Others mentioned gaps between the hands and the body. Mine has the same gaps, but I don’t know what’s the problem there. I thought the original had the same gaps. All in all, a very good quality figurine as usual. Although the impact isn’t as high as the haruhi bunny one. Thus some might find the cost a little prohibitive. (S$200) Anyway, it’s going to stand proudly beside my haruhi figurine now.
I must say, I was rather disappointed with this figure; it was not up to the standard I expect of Gathering pieces. While the basic sculpt and the paint job are perfect, it was the finer details that left it lacking. Firstly, both legs and the left arm show obvious gaps where they have not been joined properly, which looks quite ugly, while the right arm does not fit at all --- it wobbles about and has a significant gap. When I pick her up, I also need to hold the base as it flys around the place and feels like it could easily fall off (other pieces I have feel more fixed into their bases). I was also disappointed with the `value-adding' changeable tops. I was very hessitant about this when it was first announced, but it is far worse than I anticipated. Not only does the tube-top show underneith, as expected (Are Gathering figures not supposed to look as close to the original as possible? Why intentionally break from this policy?), but the top does not even sit on properly. I expected an obvious seam line, and would have accepted this, but it does not sit flush at all: the two halves do not meet each other how they should! I do not have a camera to show what I am talking about, but the angles seem to be wrong. I tried to describe how it is wrong, but I cannot really create the image correctly. Basically, the sides of the two halves do not meet, but in a far worse way than you might first imagine. A reasonable figure, but I expect better from Gathering.
I've just received the kits this morning in good condition, fully protected with bubble wrap. After a little assembling, now she's ready to take an action. The painting of Yuki-chan is ExCeLLeNt (as usual from the Gathering series.....nice job guys ) but one thing annoying me, which is one of her foot doesn't set down right to the base (oh boy..). After all I'm really happy 'bout this kits and will buy again from this GATHERING series . Once again great job E2046!! Thanks
